The Research Of Component Retriveal Technologies Based On Active Service

Software reuse is considered as an effective way to improve the productivity and the quality of software, but how to find the component library of reusable software has become a problem that users must be solved. As the number of components are increasing in practice,the components constantly updated with the technical development, how to achieve effective retrieval of the large mumber componenets has become the key of component library study and software reuse study.The key technology to achieve Software reuse is the component description and retrieval technology, It is critical to make accurate and comprehensive description of the component both in static and dynamic behavior and provide a good search. As the Component description and retrieval methods lack of semantic support currently, the users is difficult to retrieve precise components that match resources, and the rates of precision and recall are not high.To improve component reuse, this paper presents the concept of active service. Active service is a component program that rely on the component resources to customize and run the widget program which can meet customers’needs. Based on the active service of component retrieval combining the facets description and the whole, using ontology rich semantic information to expand the inquire conditions.retrieve the components close to the users’needs and sort returned to the user.The paper firstly gave the progress of the component technology and active service technology study home and abroad.Then it introduced several component description and retrieval method. These search methods emphsize on the description of retrieval method. Including faceted model and the faceted tree matching models, and pointed out the deficiencies of this retrieval method, and combined with the domain ontology,and posed component retrieval model which based on the active service. Active service-based component retrieval mechanism has been studied and discussed in detail the semantic reasoning process,then proposed to describe a combination of retrieval algorithm based on ontology and facets, and the vector space model to sort the retrieved components. The introduction of a third-party logistics and information technology component retrieval examples is to analyze active service-based component retrieval efficiency. Including system architecture, design of the framework, the establishment of the domain ontology and a practical faceted classification scheme. Specific application of this retrieval system, proved to be able to achieve good retrieval efficiency of active service-based component retrieval. Finally, it sumed up the major work of the paper has done and prospected for the next phase of work.
