Due to the elevator door control system based on infrared curtain plusing a security contact board can not detect subject that is lower than20-40mm, there is the phenomenon such as hurting hands and feet when the elevator closing the door. Research on being of reliable behavior, stable motion, quick reaction, good dynamic characteristics of elevator door control system has high practical significance. Based on this, this paper put forward a new control system of the elevator door based on the video screen.After analysing and comparing the method of image capture and processing, the elevator door video screen system control scheme and the software and hardware platform was determined in this paper, the S5PV210chip whose kernel was ARM CortexTM-A8was adopted as the core processor, the main frequency up to1GHZ, the high-performance computing power up to2000DMIPS (200million instructions per second). Because of the large amount of data in the processing of dealing with image, in this paper USB2.0interface high definition camera was adopted to realize high-speed video images data transmission from the camera to the processor. After analysing and recognition of the image, the control of elevator door will be realized. In order to simplify the programming, V4L2technology is adapted to extracte image. Mainly through analysing the image captured by USB camera,Video screen control system can distinguish the passage or even the passage’s hand or foot that is shorter than20-40mm from the other picture,and identify wether there is still passage that is getting in or out of the elevator. In the above sitiation, the MCU sent the signal to prevent closing the door.Video screen elevator door control system has a good prospect, it can replace the current elevator door system, that is equiped with infrared rays screen, plus a addition safety board of touch. Due to the advantages of image detection, small objects such an20-40mm can be detected easily and the resolution of the door system to detect small objects will be highly improved. At the same time through image detection, the video screen elevator door control system can detect whether passagers is getting into or parparing to get into the elevator, so that it can sent the signal of stopping close the door in advance and prevent being hurted by the doorthe use of Linux video screen elevator door system is an ifst exploration in Field ofEelevator device. Today Embedded system is widely used, video screen elevator doorsystem running in Linux operating system will be of great signiifcance in aspect ofsystem integration.
