With the rise of computer technology, especially the rapid development of Internettechnology, enterprise information system has been widely used. In a rapidly changingmarket, companies must be able to response faster. This requires information systems tobe able to keep up with the transformation of the market in a short period of time. But intraditional software development, the frequently needs changing will make changes inthe project to promote a model of software design and code maintenance more difficult,this also resulted in low efficiency of software development, the high cost ofdevelopment and maintenance, software poor interoperability and portability issues.In2001, the OMG (Object Management Group) proposed a model-drivenarchitecture (MDA). In MDA, it abstracts out Platform Independent Model (PIM) whichis nothing to do with the calculation and completely descript the business model.Through certain transformation rules, we can get the Platform Specific Model (PSM).This model is dependent on specific platform like Java or.Net. After enrich the PSM,we can get the information system code which is dependent on specific platform. In thisprocess, MDA through the establishment of the transitions between the different levelsof the model as well as the model to improve the efficiency and quality of the softwaredeveloped. And the Service-oriented architecture (SOA) built the enterprise ITframework based on service. This architecture solute the problem responding quickly tochanges in business processes and cooperation or integration business to improve theefficient use of resources in the enterprise.Based on the study of model-driven architecture and service-oriented architecturefor enterprise application software features and the typical structure, we proposed theservice model-driven architecture.Main research content and contributions are as follows:(1) Research MDA and SOA architecture, analysis involving key technologies.(2) For the characteristics and typical structure for enterprise application software,detailed design service model-driven architecture and define the involving model.(3) Research the conversion of PIM layer model to the PSM layer model(4) By the above theory, design and support service model-driven enterpriseapplication development platform.Finally, this paper summarizes the research work, the next outlook.
