Integrated communication system consists of control equipment, switchingequipment, and a plurality of terminal equipment. Devices connected by the wired cable.There are amount of interfaces in the system, which are divided into radio port and thesecond port. The effectiveness of the interfaces is the guarantee of the whole system towork normally. Detecting and testing are two ways to ensure the interfaces work fine.However, existing test equipment cannot give a good solution to solve the problem ofthe interface detects. So far, people often uses traditional test instruments for manualtesting, but it’s cumbersome to be used, users who operate it need high professionalknowledge, and the detection cycle is long. Using traditional test instruments could nottest large number quickly.In this paper, we develop the software of a new interface tester. We designed aspecified test program for Integrated Communication System. It uses the frame data testideas to determine whether the devices are normal, and check the devices under test bythe state of voltage, current, waveform and spectrum to locate the fault board. The mainwork of this article is as follows:Firstly, analyze the messages and signal of devices, propose the functionalrequirements and performance indicators of the interface tester. Design softwareconstructure of interface tester based on the OMAP3530Platform. Designcommunication protocols between each unit of system, and implement it.Secondly, analysis the key technologies of interface tester, design message processingalgorithms and signal processing algorithms. Use frame data test ideas to test the abilityof receiving and sending message of the devices. Use high-speed DSP to handling alarge number of data to implement debounces, filtering and parameter calculation.Thirdly, integrate GUI unit and system control unit, and establish allocationmechanisms and control mechanisms to simplify operations, to control and managementinterface tester.Fourthly, test and verify the validity and reliability of the interface tester through twotest mode, the actual test and simulation test.In this paper, we develop the interface tester’s software which specified to theintegrated communication system. We combine the frame data and oscilloscopefunctions together on a small portable device. Interface tester can carry out dailyinspection and maintenance integrated communication system’s interfaces quickly andefficiently, and it simplifies the tedious work of interface tests. Interface tester has goodmilitary value, and it has been put into use.
