Active Database Technology is now becoming a hot point research field of theDatabase Technology. The prominent idea is based on original Database functionalityand some initiative functions integrated onto one Database system, so that the Databasesystem will have the initiative to deal with a variety of services. Compared withtraditional Database technology, it is considered having more advantages in the modernmanagement information system.In accordance with the concept of modern human resource management, this paperstudies the development of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) anddesign, use of computer data processing functions, let the data more accurate andpractical, to meet the requirements of human resources management departments toimprove service and management level. Through a centralized repository of information,automatic processing of information and other technologies, to achieve lower costs,improve company efficiency and improve the performance of the company, so as to seta highly efficient and orderly HRMS.As one of the independent branches project of Shanghai Ang Dian Co., Ltd.informatization management platform. The goal is to complete the design anddevelopment of the HRMS of Ang Dian. In the context of Shanghai Ang Dian IndustrialCo., Ltd. needing backgrounds, proposed and implemented a HRMS based on ActiveDatabase Technology. The system function is including three parts, agency and staffingstructure edition, employee information registration, salaries and benefits management.Carried out Detailed research on the target company, with the system needs analysis,which is including business process analysis, data flow analysis and systemmanagement. This system make a great progress to the changing of the companymanagement, make the employee information more safety and more efficiency, reducethe work burden HRM and errors. It also can let the company decision-making layerintuitive understanding of staff makes convenient decision.Based on the needs analysis report, combined with advanced database designprinciples, proposed a specific system design, including system platform, module and its structure. System module design using the E-R diagram, flowchart describes systemrequirements and then designed the database table for the whole system. Taking the useof SQL Server2000database system, using the Triggers, it can implement the initiativeto realize the testing and data analyzing of real-time data correctness in datamanagement. Thereby, the system has been specific implementation.In the response to the characteristics of the system, based on the existing softwaretesting techniques, proposed a detailed system testing program, and completed thespecific system operation test.The results of System Test and user feedback show that the HRMS based on activedatabase technology which we have designed is just meeting the needs of our user.Compared with the existing system, our system has taken obvious advantages,meanwhile, it also has some technical innovation.
