Under the background, we develop the field freight trade system. With the application of the network technology, it can speedup issuing information, and improve the management measures to vehicles and goods, and all of these are realized in web. So, it can shorten the time of transportation, reduce the price of transportation, advance the rate of usage, and provide different users with a safe and credible information trade platform. In the field freight trade system, Windows Server 2000 is a development platform, and Apache Tomcat is the Web server and JSP engine, and J2SDK is the prototype of Java compiler development system, and we use JSP to develop the system. The database is SQL Server. The system realizes the two modules that are the user module and the manager module. In the user module, it includes the member registration, the web vehicle field, the web goods fields,the mileage inquiry and the BBS. In the manager module, it includes affirming the application of the persons that want to join in, maintaining data, affirming the trade completion and dealing with information. At present, all kinds of primary functions of the system have been realized and it can satisfy the requirement of different needs. Vehicle masters and shippers can directly get information that they need from the information trade platform. So, it realizes the computer of freight. And consumers can search all information of the system through terminal. Through the bridge of the freight information network, the transport units can improve the availability of transport tools; shipper units can reduce carriage and shorten transport time; agencies can expand operations, that is "motionless, by earth I travel eighty thousand li a day". To a trade system, consistency of data is important. In the practical usage, some exceptions often happen and they cause inconsistency. Here, the active function of active database is imported, and it is used for real-time monitoring in the field freight trade system. Active database is a brand-new branch of the modern database technology and is the outcome of the combination of database technology and artificial intelligence technology. Active database can automatically makes reactions to events and supports ECA rule (Event-Condition-Action rule).
