The long-distance transmission characteristic and invulnerability of short wavecommunication plays an irreplaceable role in military communication and civiliancommunication field, but there are some problems in conventional short wavecommunication, such as low hop rate, the anti-jamming performance not high, low datatransmission rate. With the development of anti-jamming technology, short wavefrequency hopping (FH) communication put forward more requirements, higheranti-jamming performance, and more reliable data transmission. This article proposes aCode Mapping Multiple Carrier Frequency Hopping (CM-MCFH) communicationsystem, in order to improve the performance of short wave FH system. The systemadopts parallel transmission structure, and divides the available frequency ban into anumber of sub-bands. The encoded information bits determines multicarrier to transmitmultiplexer signal on these sub-bands. The encoding gain promotes system performancewithout increasing any spectrum and power resource. The structure of the paper consists of five chapters. The Chapter1begins with a briefintroduction of the short-wave communications technology, the technology actuality ofMCFH, the research content and the arrangements of article structure; Chapter2describes the technical principles of the CM-MCFH, proposes the hard-decisionCM-MCFH system block diagram and operational principle, and conducts relatedtheoretical performance analysis and simulation comparison; Chapter3gives the softdecision CM-MCFH system to further enhance the system performance and analyzesthe performance in Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel. Chapter4mainlyanalyzes the anti-jamming performance of hard-decision CM-MCFH system in AWGNchannel and Rayleigh slow fading channels, and soft-decision CM-MCFH system inAWGN channel. Finally, conducts simulation comparison in conventional FH/BFSK, hard decision CM-MCFH and soft decision CM-MCFH system. Chapter5summarizesthe contributions of this paper, and points out the future research direction.
