The Generallodger System Design And Implementation In Financial Management

In recent years, with the popularity of computer and expansion of network,Internet-based information management system has opened up a broad market in theenterprise applications. Financial management is an important part of enterprisemanagement, especially with the international competition increasing actively, advancedfinancial management ideas and stable and secure financial accounting systems areabsolutely necessary.The General Ledger management system is a part of the New Century FinancialManagement System which is developed by Ufida Software Company. It uses B/S3-tiersoftware architecture, MVC development model, and Tomcat server and Oracledatabase. This dissertation introduces the design and development of the accountingprocess management system under unified financial supervision. This system combinedERP system and accounting management system, provides basic accounting functionsand a friendly user interface for the user. Besides, this system provides functionality forcancel after verifications and financial analysis based on subsidiary accounting.This dissertation first demonstrates the system requirements, and analyse themaccording to the process of accounting procedure. This dissertation then demonstratesthe use-case diagrams and the module diagrams, database tables and the systemarchitecture. The system is designed and developed with the ideas of concurrencycontrol and online analytical processing, including initial setup module, businessprocessing module and final processing module. The initial processing module includesbalance inputs, account create and trail balance judgment at the beginning. Businessprocessing module includes receipts management and verification management, theseare mainly used for loan write-off operations. Final processing module includes accountbook query and closing accounts, this module supports basic and olap-based query, andreconciliation operations. At the end, functional test and performance test are performedin order to meet the requirements of the system.
