Research And Implementation Of Wireless Screen Transmission System

The technology of wireless screen transmission intended to provide a plurality of wireless terminal a platform which consists of connection, controlling and display in thewireless environment. The applicable environment involves: business presentation, teaching demonstration, family entertainment and so on. For example, with the deepeningof teaching reform and the development of computer technology and application, multimedia network teaching has become the development direction of the teaching mode.The technology of wireless screen transmission can be used for content sharing of teacher’s computer screen, students can watch the teacher’s computer screen through their own computers and they can also participate in operation at any time, which makes LAN teaching much more flexible. In aspect of home entertainment, the multimedia information in the notebook which consists of all kinds of video,audio, can be displayed bythe flat-panel TVs through the technology of wireless screen transmission simultaneously. In these application environments, multiple wireless terminals can connect to server through wireless network, displaying their specified screen through the server. For thereason that, the study on the technology of wireless screen transmission has very important sense.Compared with the traditional screen sharing or screen synchronization method, the technology of wireless screen transmission advantages in the convenience of arrangement, no perforation wiring, the moving terminal, which provides comfortable environment. With the rapid development of computer application technology, and the deepening of the theoretical research of communication technology, intelligent wireless multimedia conferencing and multimedia teaching centralized activities become possible.Based on the study of the technology of wireless transmission screen and the structure and characteristics of the system, the paper has achieved a wireless transmission screen prototype system-WMPS for small and medium-sized conference (Wireless Meeting Projection System). Base on the reality conferencing system organization and composition, client’s role in the system is divided into three categories: system administrator s, participants, and the session moderator. Among them, the equipment administrator has the highest authority in the system users. He can change the various parameters of the conferencing equipment, and he can also change the password of the host. Generally,this kind of user can only maintain the equipment and have no necessary of participating in the session. Participants can join in speaking activities through the client before they exit or be terminated by the moderator. The meeting host is in charge of the entire process of meeting, including selecting the screen transmission user, supervising the entire process of screen transmission. In general, WMPS system allows for one system administrator, one conference presenters and multiple participants.
