XML Based College Teaching Resource Sharing Platform

Current,university informatization construction, makes a variety of universityresources and functions of the organization due to various reasons, the management ischaotic, at the same time, the resources and services of the university’s data is relativelyisolated. This study how to integrate the teaching resources and data informationsharing of resources, and on this basis to establish a university teaching resourcesdatabase sharing platform.This thesis takes Puyang Vocational and Technical College as the background,design university teaching resource sharing platform system based on XML. In thesystem structure, in order to solve the shared data problem between different structure,And we integration the three systems. The platform uses XML data format for the datacarrier, IIS as the web server, for heterogeneous data integration. Prior to transmission,get the information in the database,and then write this result into the XML file.Finally,we will writte the data read from XML file to the target database. Build a newdatabase synchronization mode.Build the teaching resource database sharing platform, realize the teachingresource release, retrieval, maintenance and other functions. This platform establish adifferent system to realize the seamless connection mode of operation, implementationof data integration function which elaborated in this paper. Finally, we test the platformperformance.
