| Adaptive optics is one of the most cutting-edge technology todady. Adaptive opticstechnology allows the optical system has the ability to adapt to changes automaticallydepending on the external conditions. By compensating random optical wavefrontdistortions real-timely, adaptive optics (AO) system can hold the best working state indespite of the variable ambient.Therefore adaptive optics system completely change thepassive work mode of traditional optical system which cann’t work correctly in theenvironmental interference.But carrying out the real adaptive optics experiment directlyleads to the high cost. The layout and structure of various optical components are quitecomplicated. So it’s necessary to test them rationality. And due to the naturalenvironment, it’s difficult to repeat the condition of experiments.The application ofcomputer simulation technology is the way to simplify the difficulty of deployment ofadaptive optics and quantitatively evaluate the correction ability of adaptive opticssystem. Adaptive optics simulation system is based on the mathematical model of theadaptive optics system, the theory of laser propagation in the atmosphere, thermalblooming effect and correction system modeling simulation. Propagating in theatmosphere, distortion of the light beam by atmospheric disturbance can’t be avoided.So the high-precision numerical simulation of atmospheric turbulence becomesespecially important. However, higher accuracy of the numerical simulation ofturbulence has a problem that it needs the great amount of data phase screen.Hence,researchers of adaptive optical simulation system are often troubled by the numericalsimulation of turbulence in the large amount of data phase screen.At fist this thesis briefly introduces the principle and profiles of adptive opticssimulation which divides simulation into three parts including wave-front aberrationdetection, wave-front reconstruction algorithm and wave-front aberrationcorrection.Then the thesis introduces the reason and influence of the atmosphericturbulence disturbance and has analysis several commonly used simulation methods ofatmospheric turbulence phase screen. According to the characteristics of the largeamount of data of atmospheric turbulence simulation, this thesis introduces a new simulation method of turbulent phase screen, parallel generation method based onmemory mapping; According to the fractal characteristic of atmospheric turbulence andshortages of the standard fractal algorithm, the thesis proposes a generation algorithm ofrectangle phase screen generation based on improved fractal theory.According to the domestic current study, researchers use the adaptive simulationsoftware which makes use of a text file as input parameters and DOS console as theinterface. In this condition, the development of adaptive optics simulation is hinderedgreatly. So in this thesis considering a mass of data, such as experimental parametersand results of intermediate calculations, we design and implement a module aboutadaptive optics simulation data management. It implements the graphical managementof experimental parameters and real-time visualization the results of the experiment. |
