With the development of wireless communication technology,3G network haspenetrated into our daily life, carrying our A variety of application in our hand variousapplication terminal. How to ensure the healthy and stable3G network and earlydetection of hidden troubles in the network have already become the important problemfacing operators. The traditional network coverage method of quality assessmentconsumption optimization work much, spent a lot of money, and, on the networktroubleshooting lag has also brought great harm to the healthy and stable network. Inthis regard, this paper proposes network evaluation system based on location service logdata, through the development of this system, effectively saving money, reducing theworkload, enhances the hidden danger investigation mechanism, and to solve thebottleneck which is traditional network evaluation method cannot fast detect signalcoverage for the special geographical environment (such as indoor, sea, mountainsetc.).Network evaluation system based on location service log data uses China TelecomGPSONE business positioning system, through the download location service logs fromthe group positioning server, analyses network evaluation parameter from locationservice logs: Ec/Io (useful signals and all the signal ratio), REPOWER (receivedsignal strength), combined with the positioning of the longitude and latitude, aredisplays in the client GIS geographic graphic area, positioning performance of theGPSONE based on the precise location parameter value, can basically reflect theregional network condition, through by strength of REPOWER analyzing the networkcoverage, REPOWER combined with Ec/Io determining whether the pilot pollution, toanalyze the network location of the coverage and the pilot pollution status in the system.This system is adopted by C/S structure, through the data server build in local tostorage location logs files, and using by the SQL SERVER database data to storagemanagement in this system, design and Realization of database connection and clientuse the Delphi language, using MapInfo two developments, integrate MapInfofunctionality in the client. Using the idea of modular design, clear the division of functions in this system, complete needs analysis, design and implementation whichincluding background positioning log analysis, client account information import,covering capacity evaluation and pilot pollution analysis. Finally the system wassuccessfully passed the acceptance and successfully submitted to use.Practice has proved, network evaluation system based on location service log data,can help the network optimization department rapid positioning base station position,find the weak coverage areas and pilot pollution areas in network, and the systemeffectively saves the labor and capital cost, to achieve the economic benefits.
