In the technology war of modern area, it turns to be increasingly complicated to indentify friend and foe. Besides, there is obvious flaw of the traditional single sensor. In that case, this research is of great significance on how to design and develop new comprehensive system with the information fusion of multi-sensor. Base on a research project, this thesis focuses on Micro-Doppler characteristics of the radio echo of aircraft and brings out the Comprehensive recognition simulation software system. The main content is as follows:1.The feature extract and the analysis of Micro-Doppler characteristics of the radio echo of aircraft. We build a model of the aircraft modulated echo parameter, discuss about the real aircraft and radar parameter’s influence on the ideal model. The simulation has proved the correctness of the model that the cycle modulation characteristics are stable and related to the number, length and speed of the aircraft paddles, but nothing to do with the aircraft position angle. Based on the established echo model, we compared a variety of methods on how to extract the modulation characteristics, among which AR bispectra algorithm turns to be relatively better. Also we study on the rotor plane structure characteristics and the symmetry and energy characteristics of doppler spectrum, the simulation results prove that these two characteristics can be well fixed and rotary wing aircraft. What’s more, the simulation has proved rotor and the aircraft position angle will not affect the JEM modulation characteristics, only change the amplitude spectrum and symmetry. Low pulse repetition frequency and radar pulse duration can lead to echo spectrum aliasing.2.In this thesis,we discuss about the application of JEM effect in the comprehensive identification system. With observation of the target cycle modulation characteristics and the feature of its movement and structure(the number,length and speed of its paddle), combined with HRRP characteristics, we can get the information of the target, and Provide target feature layer status report. Simulation results confirm that policymakers judgment accuracy can be improved. Using the nearest classifier, with the JEM modulation characteristics of the target aircraft, the Doppler symmetry and its energy feature, we can effectively tell the difference between the type of aircraft(helicopter/rotor/j et).3.Throughout mixed programming, algorithm under the MATLAB program and the combination of VC visual programming style, complete comprehensive target recognition simulation system development work. Based on the distributed structure of HLA, this simulation system can achieve the target dynamic simulation, radar signal simulation, IFF behavior simulation, as well as the simulation of target system based on information fusion and D-S evidence theory of target system simulation. Finally, in the process of comprehensive target recognition are given part of the simulation application results.
