The permanent magnetic materials of rare earth research have a long time in thehuman history, and they have been an important place in the national economy andwidely applied in modern technology field. But there is no any database for it, to storageor inquiry information for peoples who use magnetic materials. So the research ofmagnetic materials depends on experiences and experiments for a long time. Now thereare some software of design and calculation in magnetic materials applications, however,there is little software in database manager of the permanent magnetic material of rareearth. It just has some paper documents of database manager, and it has no able todesign or use permanent magnetic material.In “XXX research project”,need to study the permanent magnetic material, thepermanent magnetic element and the permanent magnetic component, to import databases and inquire information. Then it can serve the electromagnetic field software,design travelling wave tube and magnetron, klystron, gyro klystron and so on. It canIntegrative Manage the results and information.For the demands, in this thesis, I set up a database to solve the question. It realizedthe information management of permanent magnetic material to standardization, anddigitization. It facilitates consults and study for designers.In this thesis have some creative and exploratory research. It uses software-VBand Access to design and develop. The characteristic is widespread use, goodcompatibility and power Application. Access is not only connecting with other database,but also exchange data and shared data by ODBC. And it can connect office-software(such as Word, Excel), realize exchange data and shared data. Use linked object andEmbedded SW, many voices and images documents linked in database. VB is not only akind of object-oriented programming language, but also the most Wyalusing computerlanguage in the world. It considered being the most efficient programming method. Ithas the powerful development and the high reliability in commercial software. As wellit can design small utility programs such as deal with real-time questions. It is thequickly and simply programming language.“Visual” is adopting visualization software of UGI. In according the characteristic of VB and Access, general customer can put theresult in the database immediately. So the customer might easily operate and use it.In according above, in this thesis, I give a minute description the object and themeaning of the database. In accordance with the customer demand design thesystem-platform-frame, dividing subsystem, and write up them. In the end, I achieveusing database realizing the application management of the permanent magneticmaterial of rare earth.
