With the improvement of the distribution automation level,the requirements for the intelligent circuit breaker are also increasing.According to the working principle and advantages of the pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker with permanent magnetic actuator in this paper,the intelligent controller was developed.This controller has the functions of monitoring,protection,control and communications.It is of great significance for improving the level of intelligent distribution network and automation.First of all,the background and the significance of the research were summarized.The working principle of the circuit breaker permanent magnetic actuator and the microcomputer protection principle knowledge used in the design of intelligent controller were elaborated in detail,and it provided the design and theoretical basis for the design of the circuit breaker intelligent controller.Secondly,the overall design scheme of vacuum circuit breaker intelligent controller permanent magnetic actuator was put forward.According to the function,the intelligent controller was divided into three parts for the design of hardware circuit and software circuit work.Stable power supply was provided to the controller by power management section,which can insure the stable operation of the controller.The current and voltage signals of the distribution circuit were sampled and processed by the main control and protection part,and then the fault types were judged through the microcomputer protection,and finding the open/close operation of circuit breaker was realized by driving IGBT turn-on.The ?C/OS-? operating system was embedded the communication and the human-computer interaction part,which manage the fault display,parameter setting and GPRS/ Ethernet communication functions,and this operating system which achieved real-time data update and command interaction with the monitoring center.Finally,the performance of the controller was tested comprehensively by setting up the experimental platform.The test items included the sampling accuracy verification,the determination of optimal open/close time,microcomputer protection,local operation and remote control device of circuit breaker,and so on.The experimental results show that the intelligent controller for the pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker with permanent magnetic actuator achieved the expected goal.
