The lighter gas box prones to explosion in the case of the high temperature, shock or internal pressure greater than the carrying limit of shell, has taken a potential threat or actual harm to public safety. Gas storage box pressure resistance is a major factor affecting the lighter safety. China lighter gas storage box pressure detection technology and equipment developed are very scarce, one of the few existing domestic testing equipment has features as follow:low degree of automation, accuracy and detection efficiency, poor securit, it is difficult to provide effective support for the safety supervision of China lighter industry and the import and export of lighter to deal with technical barriers to trade.This paper focused on the lighter gas storage box pressure test, studied the relationship of the gas leak and pressure, captured the precise control of pressure supercharger rate control detection of key detection technologies, multi-channel lighter gas storage box pressure testing equipment based on FPGA is developed, which can simultaneously detected5channel lighter gas storage box pressure capability, completed automatic inflation, holding and relief pressure links, realized from manual testing to automated testing. The main research contents are as follows:The topic proposed the overall design scheme through determining the gas storage box press test technical indicators. It analyzed the basic principle of the instrument, described the gas pressure testing methods and control methods, applied software FLUENT to model and simulate the5channel pneumatic branch pressure cushioning device, which improved the volumetric efficiency. It analyzed proof leak institution to improve the security of the instrument. Finally, it made a feasibility analysis to the instrument overall program from the principles and methods.The inflatable pressure control contained the inflatable target pressure control and plenum rate control in order to ensure the simultaneous detection of the5channel pressure. Lighter proof leak driving circuit design was used to improve the security of the instrument. Based on the above issues, the pressure detection circuit of the multi-channel, pressure control circuit and explosion proof water motor drive circuit were designed, which based on FPGA as the core.The system focused on pressure detection, pressure control and lighter explosion proof control’s software design methods and processes of the multi-channel lighter pressure detector. It was through software filtering for pressure detection and PID algorithm for pressure control, analyzed the filtering algorithm and PID algorithm, and achieved algorithm application on program.The system collected a large number of pressure calibration experimental data to analysis, verified the accuracy and performance of the whole instrument by repeatedly test.finally summarized the existing problems and put forward the prospect of device.Experimental results show that:the multi-channel lighter gas box press detector’s test process has high degree of automation, pressure detecting precision is10kPa, the supercharger rate is controllable, the inflation time is less than20s, which has high-security in the detection process.
