Development Of PDK Based On0.5μm BCD Process

PDK library as a bridge between technology and IC design tools which caneffectively improve IC designer’s efficiency. Therefore, PDK is widely used in analog,mixed-signal and RF circuit designs.In this paper, the method of0.5μm BCD process PDK library which is developedbased on PAS is introduced. It also analyzed the process technology file, PV Rule fileand Pcell in PAS. The superior performance of PDK development based on PAS isdiscussed. And0.5μm BCD process PDK development is accomplished in PAS.Through the development and analysis of Pcell devices, the design principle of Pcelldevices and the function of CDF parameters are studied in-depth. In last part of paper,the problems is analyzed which may exit in PDK library. The verification of batch andIC design instance can ensure the correct, reliable and integral of PDK. Besides, itconfirmed that PDK can support the IC circuit design flexibility and exactly.
