With the development of science and technology, wireless communication hasbeen widely used in many fields. However, natural disasters, such as landslides, floodsand earthquakes, result in a decline in the performance of communication networks.Bit error and packet loss probability increase. In this paper, based on compressedsensing theory, the image transmission problem in a weak channel wirelessenvironment is researched.This paper firstly studies the compressed sensing theory, focuses on theoptimization reconstruction algorithm-TVAL3(Total Variation Minimization based onAugmented Lagrangian and Alternating Direction). On this basis, based on the TIDaVinci dual-core embedded processor, a wireless communication system is designedto achieve the transmission in a weak channel wireless environment. DaVinci DM6446EVM (ARM+DSP dual-core) is adopted as the development platform. The videocapture, the data measurement, data transmission and the recovery of image on the PCare completed on this development board. The algorithm of data measurement isoptimized to reduce the algorithm running time on DSP, and the transport protocolbased on UDP is completed. Finally, the wireless communication in a narrowbandwidth, weak channel environment is achieved.Actual tests show that this wireless communication system can still reconstructthe original image when some packets have been lost in the transmission. However,there is a great need to do in-depth research in real-time, anti-noise ability and theuniversality of the algorithm.
