People will control the future if they own more information. It is true that the rapid development of information technology has become an irresistible trend, and the data transmission within the domain has a top priority as the bridge of information exchange. As the massive demands for information and the pressure for signal sampling, transport and storage, we need to develop a series of measures such as data compression, data fusion, data storage and forwarding to make wireless communication system have a greater system capacity, higher transfer rates and lower equipment loss while meeting the user's QoS.The paper studies a new scheme for data compression and transmission in cognitive radio, wireless sensor network systems. The new scheme applies the compressed sensing to spectrum sensing and wireless sensor network, and the scheme will reduce amount of data for information transmission and optimize the system performance such as system delay, capacity and energy consumption. The simulations show that the compressed sensing technology can keep perfect reconstruction of the signal while reducing the required amount of data to be processed and transmitted, and therefore energy consumption, time delay and system loss.
