Finite element model updating is one of the core content of structural healthmonitoring. Classified by the adopted methods, there are matrix methods andparameter methods for finite element model updating. In this paper, the parameterupdating method is used for the finite element model updating, and the updatedparameter is elasticity modulus E.Measurement under different of load conditions is adopted, and the optimizationalgorithm is improved genetic algorithm with The finite element model updatingmethods are proposed based on displacement and strain measurement under multipleconditions and the improved genetic algorithm. The main work in this paper is asfollows:⑴The finite element model updating method based on genetic algorithm andmeasurement information of displacement was established;⑵The finite element model updating method based on genetic algorithm and strainmeasurement was established;⑶The finite element model updating method based on genetic algorithm andmeasurement of both displacement and strain was established;⑷The common finite element analysis programs were developed for the abovemethods, which were used for numerical testing and engineering validation.Some problems such as the methods’ availability, starting point selection andmeasurement position were studied.⑸Numerical tests proves the methods available.
