The proposed HeNB technology can effectively solve the problems of indoorcoverage and low capacity in the cellular communication system. Besides, HeNBs arelow-power and low-cost wireless access points comparing to similar businesses, anddo not require changing the core network. The HeNB architecture is quite differentfrom existing cellular networks. Thus this may create serious mutual interferencebetween HeNBs and eNB as well as among HeNBs, and the modifications ofhandover procedures and control algorithm are needed. In this paper the background of HeNB is introduced, the concept of the homebase station is explained, and the significance of research and application scenarios isanalyzed; Then the composition and the network structure of HeNB is discussed, andthe key issues of it’s deployment as well as the influence on the existing network arepointed out. Moreover interference management issues from power control andspectrum allocation schemes are considered. The major work of this paper are two aspects: firstly, a HeNBs power controlstrategy which is based on the distance estimation between mobile macro users andhome base station is proposed to make sure that the mobile users SINR is notaffected by home base station too much; secondly, the spectrum allocation schemesof HeNB are summarized, detailed formulas and graphical analysis of them arepresented; Then the application scenarios of HeNB are classified, the properspectrum allocation schemes of every scenarios are analyzed. A dynamic frequencyreuse scheme are proposed for highly dense femtocellular deployments scenario. themechanism of the spectrum allocation scheme of newly added HeNB is provided. Theoutage probability of HeNBs users is formulated. From the simulation results we canfind that dynamic frequency reuse scheme can efficiently reduce users outageprobability.
