| Under the promotion of the trend of global communication, there is no doubt that the communication elements which are nationalization and localization are proved as the essential elements to resist the imperialism of cultural industry. Within this framework, the spread of Chinese traditional culture shows the unprecedented vitality and spirit. Moreover, calligraphy which is one of the most important branches of traditional culture also has a totally new spread environment. However, in the practice, it is normally treated as the "edge" culture and just one cultural heritage of United Nations (UN).In the case of academia, the research on the calligraphy usually concentrates on the fields of "Appreciation about Calligraphic Works" and "Review and Analysis about the culture of the History of Calligraphy", but the research achievements based on the spread through the medium are rarely. Overall, on the one hand, calligraphy can be seen as a medium. This is because it is a writing tool which can promote the social communication. On the other hand, it is also valuable to research by the staff in the field of medium because of the rich historic resources from calligraphy.Therefore, the author organizes and summarizes the history of cultural spread through the calligraphy based on the methodology of literature study. The author also organizes that from the dynasties of Qin and Han, the ways of calligraphy spread have already transferred from the separate writing tool to the combination of writing tool and cultural arts. However, because the process of modernization leads to the reform of technology and culture, the spread of calligraphy as a tool of writing are in trouble now. Therefore, the purpose of the author is to adopt the TV as a medium to promote the spread of calligraphy. In addition, the author elaborates the relationship between the TV medium and the culture of calligraphy, and indicates that they are integrated within the framework of "Visibility" element. From the perspective of "Visibility" element, the author analyses the significant advantages of the TV medium as a way to promote the spread of calligraphy, and thereby explores the new possibility of TV medium as a way to promote the spread of calligraphy because of the establishment of the new medium platform.During the past year, based on the methodology of experimentalism and the SPSS, the author has completed the Information System message analysis about the information of the spread of calligraphy from the TV medium. To be more important, based on the category and study of the data on the time, contents and the form of information, the platform of broadcast and the broadcast period, the author found the preference of the TV medium to the spread of calligraphy and the disadvantages of the current Information System. In this sense, the author suggests that it is necessary to establish a more open Information System of the spread of calligraphy through the TV medium, which aim is to convince the audience.Based on the analysis of the literatures about the spread of calligraphy and the analysis of the Information System of the spread of calligraphy through the TV medium, the author tries to find the importance of the spread of calligraphy in the modern society. Further, in order to help calligraphy culture, one branch of traditional culture, obtain broader basis of audience and to promote the inheritance and protection of the culture of calligraphy, the author has completed the System encoding to the importance of the TV medium. At the same time, there is a new choice of the contents of the TV medium supplied by the organization of calligraphy culture and the analysis of the Information System of Calligraphy in the TV medium. |
