| After the telecom operators are reorganized. China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom have been formed as the three giants. China Telecom purchased the CDMA network from China Unicom. In order to meet the needs both for technology and business development, Ningxia Telecom set up a completed migration strategy. It succeeded in the core CDMA network stable migration and integration of the new net and the existing one. In such a fiercely competitive voice business market, Ningxia Telecom expands various value-added services in order to make a best use of their advantages. As one of the most import business, multimedia messaging service center (MMSC for Simple) started to establish. MMSC is one of the most important equipment used for multimedia messaging business. As planned, the CDMA network is divided into two platforms:One is national platform and the other one is provincial platform. Because there is no national multimedia messaging service center in CDMA network, every province should establish its won service center. This provincial service center will support the development of point-to-point multimedia message business, mobile news business etc.This article put emphasis on MMSC business. Its research work focus on the following aspects:firstly, a brief review of MMS development history was give. Secondly, it introduced the system structure, functions, basic procedures as well as its external interface of CDMA network. Based on these introductions, it discussed on multimedia messaging service center plan of Ningxia Telecom. Thirdly, after analyzing the operation data, it gave detailed comments on the net optimization of Ningxia MMSC.Furthermore based on the development plan of Ningxia MMSC and CDMA network, it put forward the technology solutions of the net optimization, and the construction plan for the practical work. These discussions and suggestions will be a great help for the CDMA network development and MMS business improvement. |
