With the development of technology and improvement of economy of our country, more and more families would like to increase investment in the ways of enhancing the quality of life, so Home Intelligent Control Systems (HICS) emerge as the times require. HICS refers to connecting various household appliances and security equipments with home networking using computer, Internet and embedded system, at the same time automatically controlling is realized by other embedded terminals. Therefore, a convenience, safe, comfortable and efficient living environment comes true by the ways of putting soul of intelligence in various household equipments. Let’s imagine the future life, on our way home, pressing the remote button then immediately feeling the cool air at home in hot summer; pressing the remote button and enjoy the warm bath water in bathtub in cold winter; checking the pets being alone at home by the remote button.In this thesis, it mainly discusses HICS centered as S3C6410development board with the framework ARM11. This development board has already achieved the goals of Samsung S3C6410processor’s quality in video media decoding,2D/3D graphics acceleration, display management and scaling. It is in support of Android2.1、Linux2.6.28、WinCE6.0、 Ubuntu9.04operating system, providing LCD interface、Camera interface、TVout interface、4serial port、SD card slo、SPI、I2C interface、100M internet port、USBhost interface、 USB2.0-OTG interface and audio input and output interface in common use. With up to667M main frequency and256M’s RAM, it fully satisfies the needs as main controlling chip of HICS. The wireless communication makes use of UZ2400module separately connecting with main control S3C6410and terminal MPU linyang SPCE061A through the SPI main line controlling then comprising the main node and terminal node. It transports Android2.1system in the main node S3C6410development board and build embedded WEB server then achieve the purpose of long-distance controlling household appliances via wireless communication module in nodes using Internet access to this server.
