Geographic spatial data is the characteristics and spatial distributioncharacteristics of the surface of the earth natural, humanistic elements of the data, isthe national infrastructure construction and earth science research support.Geographic spatial data because of containing a large amount of space position andsensitive information characteristic, its security issues involved in all aspects ofintellectual property rights protection, information disclosure and national securityissues. With the rapid development of computer network and communicationtechnology, the open network environment and convenient information processingtechnology, cause the problem of digital copyright protection has become increasinglyprominent. Digital watermarking technique is an important branch of the informationhiding technology in recent years, there is a huge potential application value in thecopyright protection, secret communication, digital products. Therefore, research ondigital raster map watermarking technology has very important significance.This paper is based on the scrambling digital watermarking wavelet transformand chaotic encryption as the foundation, combined with data characteristics of digitalraster map, use digital watermarking technology to encrypt digital raster map. Thispaper analyzes the basic principle of digital watermarking technology, analyzes thedata characteristics of digital raster map, points out the present situation andsignificance of the research on digital raster map watermarking, and application of thedigital raster map watermarking research. Application of a watermarking algorithmbased on wavelet transform to achieve encryption to protect the digital raster map’sobjective, analyzes the advantages of the copyright protection based on wavelettransform and digital raster map integration, process of watermark embedding andextraction are discussed; application of a digital watermarking algorithm Arnoldscrambling transformation and Logistic based on chaotic encryption, for wavelettransform digital watermarking encryption for digital raster map, and validated byexperiment that the algorithm has good robustness and security, has a strong practical.
