With the development of radar technology, bistatic (multiple) base network hasbecome the mainstream of developmental direction. Compared to monostatic base, bistatic (multiple) base has the advantage that monostatic does not have in the aspect ofanti-attack. Moreover, bistatic (multiple) base is favorably endowed with advantage inresisting electronic jamming. As the unique attribute of sea surface, first-order seaclutter plays an important role both in inversing marine parameters and in detectingmoving targets at the sea surface. The thesis is to effectively detect and recognize first-order sea clutter of bistatic(multiple) base.First of all, it is necessary to summarize the generation mechanism on first-ordersea clutter of monostatic base and perform a simulation experiment on sea clutter, whichlays a foundation for recognizing sea clutter of monostatic base. The next step is tosummarize the classic detection methods of sea clutter such as classic peak detectionmethod, characteristic-knowledge-based method and the combined method ofmulti-scale filtering and characteristic-knowledge. Because the sea clutter of monostaticbase shows obvious characteristics, the three different detection method can beproficiently used in detecting first-order sea clutter of monostatic base.Secondly, the thesis analyzes the generation mechanism of the first-order seaclutter of bistatic base; makes a contrast with the sea clutter of monostatic base;performs a simulation experiment on the sea clutter of bistatic base; summarizes winddirection, wind speed, radar emission frequency; and find out how bistatic angleinfluences the first-order sea clutter of bistatic base. Finally, the thesis uses monostatic detection method to analyze measured data onthe first-order sea clutter of bistatic base; contrast the three different detection methods;and analyzes detection results. It is testified that the combined method of multi-scalefiltering and characteristic-knowledge which the thesis first-uses has a better detectionperformance than other classic methods.
