Satellite optical communication provide a new way for the satellite communicationtechnology.Satellite communication channels increasingly crowded,satellite opticalcommunication become a ideal solution of high-rate satellite communications,becauseof the high-speed and capacity communications.ATP system has a critical influence tothe optical communication.This paper studies the satellite optical communication coarsepointing control system software in orbit update and improve the performance andreliability of software fault-tolerant.At first,this paper introduces the main form of software updates and the systemrequirements, design the structure of the coarse pointing control system in orbit updatethe system. Made a design focus on the overall structure.Second, introduce boot mode of the coarse pointing control system terminal DSPand the structure of the data stream analysis. Coarse pointing control system consists ofthree modules, analysis the host computer processing module of the coarse pointingcontrol system, and design the hardware circuit. For to be in orbit update procedures ofeach unit is divided into two storage, write the required CMD file,design the in-orbitupdate software process.Analyze the format of the COFF file and extract the section.Considering safety design need,this paper presents DSP uses SPI realize in-orbitupdate.Finally, in order to ensure the speed and reliability of data transmission in thein-orbit update, introduces the basic concepts such as basic concepts of communicationcoding and coding method, based on the channel error probability model,in the Matlabsimulation environment analyses the performance of linearcodes, cyclic codes andconvolutional codes, and analysis their advantages and disadvantages.
