Microblogging media consists of thousands of users, and the interactions andcommunications among these users make it a huge social network where kinds ofcommunity structures exist. Therefore, it is very important to analyze the networkon microblogging media, to detect the existing communities and to evaluate theinfluence power of the users in these communities.The research on community analyzing based on microblogging media aims todetect the communities and evaluate the influence power of their users by analyzingthe communities’ characteristics in their social networks. This paper will firstevaluate the different research methods of network analyzing. Then, by combiningthe properties of microblogging media, it will represent the research on detectingthe communities and evaluating the influence power of their users. This paperincludes the following three parts:First, this paper will analyze the user nodes identified as Natural LanguageProcessing on Sina Microblog on network level. The first step is to collect theseusers’ information from the open platform of Sina Microblog and build up theinteracting network among them. Then it will evaluate the influence power andcentrality with the calculation in traditional Topology analysis algorithm.Second, this paper will introduce the method to detect the communities from theSina Microblog network and evaluate the influence power of their users both onstructural and communicational level.Third, this paper will represent two application system based on the formerresearch: Microblog-oriented network analyzing system and Microblog-orientedcommunity detecting and influence evaluating system.
