Design And Implementation Of Location-sensitive Personalized News Recommendation System

With the appearance of smart phones, the applications which based on theAndroid platform raging appear, many Internet companies have developedAndroid-based clients at home and abroad. In january2012, the Android market has100,000developers, and more than400,000applications, most of which are free.In the face of large amounts of data and doping junk data, it is difficult to findinformation which we are interested. what we need is accurate and real-time data.Based on the condition, I propose to develop a location-sensitive personalized newsrecommendation system, to meet the needs of users.The paper introduces the location-sensitive personalized news recommendationsystem, namely “GuiJi”. It summarizes the development, background and significanceof related applications on the Android platform; then introduces the systemdevelopment technologies and environment; moreover, introduces systemrequirements analysis, outline design, detailed design, system implemention. Thesystem’s server uses the J2EE SSH framework, which contains9modules which arefresh locations (real-time,heat,recommend), my home (dynamic, mood, album),wonderful locations which will be happen, real-time weather, board, follwers, fans,find someone, setting function, and uses Baidu Maps API to parse locationinformation; the Android-based client combines HtmlParser crawler technology, andcompletes design and implementation with the server modules. The system iscurrently in the testing process, and I hope to put into use as soon as possible.
