The Motion capture technology is by sensing devices for recording human motion datawhich by computer processed and real-time dynamic display. It involves data collection,spatial position of objects, acceleration and angular velocity measurement, data transmission,processing and display.Motion capture technology, with its advantages, is widely used in motion analysis, filmsof special effects, medicine, robot for autonomous control and other fields. In the filed ofhuman-related applications, it is an important technology. It can immediately and accuratelyobtain the movement of the body posture in space, providing scientific and reliable data forresearchers. The technology for many industries, has brought a revolutionary change.ARM embedded microprocessor is integrated multiple functions, it has thecharacteristics of code execution and data processing capability. Cortex-M3LPC17XX serieswhich is simple and powerful features. This thesis uses LPC17XX as processor to completeexecution of the system control and operation. With the development of technologies, chipsare highly integrated. This makes human motion capture equipment small size, low powerconsumption and real time direction. Meanwhile, the wireless sensor technology was born, itwill make testers have more space, making it easier to wear human motion capture equipmentand go into people’s lives.Thesis first introduces the research background, purpose and significance, and analysesthe implementation and the advantages and disadvantages of the current commercial motioncapture system.Next,nanlysis the related principles of motion capture which based onmicro-sensors,given the joint movement of the human form,scope and the number of degreesof freedom,describes the working principle of the acceleration,gyroscopes andmagnetometers, deduces the coordinate transformation matrix and four coordinatetransformation algorithm of strapdown navigation and comparison on advantages anddisadvantantages.including.Final selects the quaternion method to achieve the attitudealgorithm,and outlines the characteristics of Bluetooth technology.Then,according to thesystem design requirements to select the appropriate sensors,complete the hardware and software design.Draw the PCB with Altuim Desgner software.Finally,test eachmodule,including development board debugging,testing of Bluetooth communication,datacollection,and displays waveforms in MATLAB.Thesis major includes nodes of human motion capture system design based on MEMSsensors and Bluetooth wireless transmission.Thesis has designed a human motion captureboard using wireless transmission technology,to solve the current limitations of wiredconnections.Results of tests show that the joint movement can be more accurately obtainedusing the development board and transmited through wireless.It also can be applied to avariety of occasions and has something referential value for the study of human motioncapture technology in the future.
