In recent years, with the rapid developing of Electronic Science and technology,the Intelligent mobile devices has been owning computer function gradually, peoplecan use them to hava a video calling, watch TV, play games and even to have anetwork meeting Whenever and wherever possible. With the technology innovation,more and more intelligent mobile phone and computer replace the non intelligentmobile phone’s and computer’s market. As the progress of science and technologyleader, Google still committed to the portable device operating system Androiddevelopment and promotion. In2011August, the market share of Android operatingsystem in intelligent mobile phone operating system market has reached48%,becoming the world’s most popular intelligent mobile phone platform.The emergence and development of intelligent mobile phone provides a betterenvironment for mobile learning. Mobile learning means to have learning activitiesusing the mobile devices. Students can learn knowledge and expanding technologythrough mobile devices.Through the rapid development of mobile devices in recentyears, users are no longer satisfied with the traditional learning and network learning,but look at the use of more convenient mobile learning market.Because of these, some visionary companies has migrated their network productson Android platform.《The Design and Implementation of Mobile Learning SystemBased on Android Platform》 is based on the discussion of Android mobile phoneapplication development principle, develop a mobile learning system in Androidplatform which is migrate from existing learning management system.The Company has a learning management system (LMS) called Hiplus, Hiplus isa network learning (E-Learning) system which developed by Japanese Hitachi Groupand put into the domestic market, and there are considerable market share currently. Inorder to promote the development of technology, and give the user to have moreconvenient and efficient online learning feeling, our company decided to develop3G-Hiplus learning system based on Android platform.3G-Hiplus is a system based on mobile teaching philosophy, it includes Androidapplication program and server program which migrate from existing E-Learningsystem.3G-Hiplus increases the learning way of existing E-Learning system, andmakes Hiplus’s user easily to logining on LMS and learning materials to increase the daily life and professional knowledge. From the business point of view,3G-Hipluscan improve the Hiplus service quality, and enhance the competitiveness of products.The main function of3G-Hiplus is to support users to browse online courseware,do test, seek history data and apply the course.On the project, my task is to design and implementation of Android applicationprogram and server program, and design the layout of the page with art designer.Therefore, the thesis will focus on design and implement the3G-Hiplus’s interface,and the interactive between Android application program and server program, andhow to loading the material’s and test’s contents, and also support the solution ofSCORM standard materials. In addition, this thesis will also discuss the difficultproblem that how to solve different client synchronization and screen compatibilityissues.The thesis starting from the view of theoretically and actually, and aimed at themobile learning system demand for present domestic education industry, carry outdemand analysis, program designing and implementation. Finally, give a solution forexpand the existing network learning system to mobile learning system.
