Nowadays using computer technology as an aid for sport training has becamean effective measure to improve the level of athlete. Reasonable use of techniquesand tactics in the short track speed skating competition is one of the key factors fora win. Due to a variety of factors, a simple on-site training can not meet certaintraining requirements. To do this, combined three-dimensional computer simulationtechnology and artificial intelligence technology, a set of Short Track SpeedSkating Technical and Tactical Simulation System was developed for athletes andcoaches.The system is designed and implemented according to the mode of LANnetworking game. The system uses the existing athlete’s competition and trainingdata to establish the model to simulate the real athletes.The user can formulatedifferent tactics for the intelligent agents athlete,and compete online with otherusers to achieve the purpose of drilling individual and team technology and tactic.In this paper, based on the finished design and implementation, furtherfunctional improvement and performance optimization are made to the system.Conducted in-depth discussion on key issues and key technologies, and put forwardsome solutions to improve the system. Firstly, adjust the framework to be moreeffective and scalable. Conducted in-depth research on synchronization problems inreal-time network applications, and implement the Dead Reckoning synchronizationalgorithm for the athlete’s movement synchronization. The concept of distributedobject and remote procedure call (RPC) are introduced to implement thecommunication between online computers. Then combined the Constant Game Speedindependent of Variable FPS (frames per second) with the vertical sync, we make control ofthe frame frequency.Some other functionalities are increased to the system, and finally allfunctional modules are integrated into a complete system.
