Spacecraft propulsion system plays an important part in aerospaceengineering, its performance and reliability have been always the researchhotspot. The digital simulation method can effectively solve many aspects ofproblems during the process of design, test and performance analysis ofpropulsion system, and has become a study method as important as engineeringtest in the process of spacecraft propulsion system development. It can greatlyshorten the development cycle and reduce development costs, so it has been usedmore and more widely. This paper takes spacecraft monopropellant propulsionsystem as the research object, takes a practical engineering project as thebackground, establishes a propulsion system simulation module based on the ideaof modular modeling and simulation, designs a database to store the simulationdata, and develops data interface and control interface combined with telemetrydata management system.Firstly, based on the typical structure of spacecraft propulsion system, thispaper makes mathematical analyses on the related model of typical components,puts forward suitable simulation calculation method, and makes simulation ofmonopropellant propulsion system with the use of MATLAB. The effect ofmodeling and simulation method is verified through the analysis of simulationresults, which lays a necessary foundation for the following simulation moduleprogram design.According to the software design features of Microsoft Visual C++platform,each typical component of spacecraft propulsion system is represented in theform of C++class, which consist of typical components class library. Then asingle component system simulation model is established, simulation interfacemodule is designed, and database module is built to store simulation data forfault diagnosis and data management.Finally, in accordance with the project requirements of telemetry datamanagement system, the appropriate way of communication is selected, TCPclient data interface based on the Socket data communication is developed, datatransmission protocol with CRC check is formulated and realized in data interface module, and telemetry parameter monitoring interface is designed tograph display of related telemetry data, which is offered for decision makers.The research work in this paper lays equal stress on theoretical study andpractical application, has a strong engineering application background, involvesin many aspects of technology such as system simulation, software development,and has guiding significance and reference value to similar backgroundapplication software on a certain extent.
