Effective teaching problem is the one that the general education workers are concerned about since the new curriculum reform. This paper is targeted at effective teaching in history in high school, which contains the introduction, the analysis of the ineffectiveness in the high school history classroom teaching, the principles and characteristics of high school history classroom effective teaching, the strategies of the high school history classroom effective teaching and the thought of evaluation on effective teaching in high school history class.The first part is the review of effective teaching problems, including "effective teaching" concept definition and theoretical basis and general research on effective teaching at home and abroad.In the second part, the ineffectiveness in the high school history classroom teaching is analyzed. The inefficiency is shown as follows:the poor effect of students’history learning; students’underpowered history leaning; teachers’ difficult-to-achieve teaching goal. The paper thinks that the inefficiency lies in the factors of social environment, school management, teachers’teaching and students’leaning.The third part puts forward the principles and characteristics of implementation of effective teaching in high school history class. Effective teaching in high school history classroom includes meaning construction principle; all the development and individual development; the combination of teacher-led and students-centered principle. The characteristics of effective teaching in the high school history classroom include; the right teaching goal in history lesson; scientific organizations in history class and skilled teaching skill and harmonious relationship between teachers and studentsIn the fourth part, the paper discusses the strategies of the effective teaching in high school history classroom. The strategies include the strategies of promoting professional quality of history teachers. Before-class preparation strategy in senior middle school history class. High school history classroom effective teaching strategies.The fifth part is about the thought of evaluation on effective teaching in high school history class. The paper thinks good teaching self-reflection can promote the effective development of the teaching process and academic achievement evaluation and testing the validity of teaching.This paper aims at constituting the practice research into effective teaching system in high school history classroom through the above five parts and providing some theoretical and practical reference of effectiveness in high school history teaching for high school history teachers.
