In March2003, the Ministry of Education promulgated "Ordinary HighSchool Biology Course Standards",made clear that "after the study of high schoolbiology course,students can learn to general method of biological science inquiry""grasp observation,experiment, comparison, analysis and synthesis and other scientificmethods and its application in scientific research". The high school biology textbooksprogrammed the content of the scientific method education. as a education worker, it isnecessary to exploratied scientific method education deeply.In this paper, the scientific method education in high school biology teachingcontents, goals, and the corresponding teaching strategies were studied. first of all,discusses the scientific method, scientific method education concept to define andanalyze the current situation of domestic and foreign scientific method education bydocumentary method. Then analysises the high school biology textbook, find out"observation""experiment""logical thinking method""model method ""mathematicsmethod " five types of biology related content of the scientific method in textbook.Finally, under the guidance of teaching theory and learning theory, combined with thescientific method of content analysis high school biology required targetssystem.Summarize the-first-line teachers how to teach the scientific method and anumber of successful cases and literature.
