| With more and more Tibetan students come to inland to study further, it’s necessary for the geography teachers here to think over how to connect the knowledge from the book with their real life effectively as well as unite the theory with the practice in the study of geography so as to improve the marks. The basic theory in New curriculum level of Geography is that the study should be useful to the real life and the development for life. In the new teaching course, we should integrate the study with the practice and let the life blend with the teaching to make the geography study return to the real life. We find it utmost important to create the lifestyle teaching situation as well as the teaching course to practice the life skills. Meanwhile we should try our best to exploit the geography resources which is close to the real feeling of the Tibetan students in order to stimulate their interests to the geography study, fulfill the requirements of the new curriculum level and reach the goals of geography teaching. As a consequence, all mentioned above is based on the strong demands of the real teaching. This paper starts with the theory and practice about the internal and external geography teaching in daily life which is based on the theory of the new curriculum and the constructivism as well as find out the problems that the Tibetan students who are studying in the inland have according to the questionnaire survey, teaching and learning observation as well as the interview and discuss and then analyze and demonstrate the reasons and point out the necessity of geography teaching in daily life which is carried out in the inland Tibetan class. Furthermore, I put forward the principles which consist of following the mentality of the Tibetan ethnic culture, adapting to the difference in the students’basis and language and focusing on cultivating the way of study. Meanwhile, I pay more attention to setting up the teaching environment which is suitable to the students’daily life, carrying out the teaching activities that correspond to the psychology of the Tibetan students and unearthing the teaching strategy which is the linking spot between the knowledge in the book and the daily life of the students as well as researching and putting them into reality. |
