With the extensive application of modern information technology,Computer assisted instruction (CAI) has profound effects on mathematics education. Our country "the ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standard (experiment draft)" points out that high school mathematics curriculum should use information technology to render the previous course content which is difficult to present in the teaching, strengthen the combination of mathematics teaching and information technology.Function is the main line which covers the middle school mathematics knowledge, the function concept and its nature of high school are the emphasis and difficulties in learning. On the one hand, the highly abstraction of functions concept itself and the generality of its nature make people afraid. On the other hand, the thinking levels of the fresh students of high school are mainly in an image to the abstract thinking transition, which is difficult to understand the concepts of function and nature. Dynamic mathematical is widely used in teaching because of its mathematics visualization and dynamic function. Appling Geogebra in high school function teaching can help dynamic visualization mathematical objects and find its regularity and nature, which is an effective way to learn function.This research mainly carried out from the sides of theoretical study and practical study.As for theoretical study, it summarizes the characteristics and application of the Geogebra software at first and discusses the principles of mathematical software aided high school teaching on the basis of the concept of multiple characterization study:package information principle, space nearby principle, time approaching principle and the consistency principle,and then design several accumulates case according to the principles. Cases selecting the function of high school needed the information technology to support to break through the teaching emphasis and difficulties, accumulates mainly include three aspects:basic teaching analysis, production process, the basic principle and application.As for practical study, it mainly applied accumulates cases to teaching practice.Given priority to teaching experiment, questionnaire investigation and case interview are complementary, to research and analysis the students’ of Geogebra auxiliary function teaching learning interest, understanding ability, exploring ability.Geogebra auxiliary teaching, the students’interest in mathematics learning, the experimental class is higher than that in comparative classe; understanding of knowledge ability of self-evaluation and exploring ability of self-evaluation, the experimental class students’learning grades are obviously higher than that in comparative classes, and it significantly better than that in comparative classes.Therefore,the Geogebra auxiliary teaching can improve students’interest in learning and enhance students’understanding in learning function, benefit to the improvement of the grades. This study attempts to combine modern information technology with high school mathematics teaching,hoping these accumulates cases have certain practical reference to the auxiliary function of high school teaching.
