The formation of the Hui ethnic group is consistent with the localization of Islam in China. Hui ethnic group culture is produced in the process of mutual communication and integration of Islamic culture and Chinese traditional culture. Its core is that Hui ethnic group culture is a combination of Islamic culture and Chinese culture.Qin-tian-jian Hui descendants have the double identities, and that is the identity of the Hui ethnic group as well as the Qin-tian-jian Yang Hui descendants. On the one hand, they obey strictly the Islamic faith, and that makes them different from the Chinese group. On the other hand, they have not forgotten the lineage origin and make use of the family culture to strengthen the sense of cohesion. Aiming to explore the process of cultural change of the Qin-tian-jian Yang Hui descendants, the paper bases on the knowledge concerning the ethnology, regards Qin-tian-jian Yang living in Chinese Han surrounding environment as the background, and takes the acculturation as the main line. The culture of Qin-tian-jian Yang Hui family comes into being with the process of acculturation, which is a process that can be characterized by the contact between the Islamic culture and Han culture which is dominated by the Confucian culture. The process of the formation of the Qin-tian-jian Yang Hui family is the representation of the formation of Hui ethnic group; at the same scene, the process of the formation of the family culture is the reduction of the formation of Hui culture. The paper is consisted of five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, to make clear the account of topic origin, significance, and literature review, theoretical framework and theoretical assumption. The second chapter starts from the rise of the Islamic astronomy and the spread to China. The writer firstly introduces the western astronomers and then introduces Yang Guangxian. The third chapter focuses on Qin-tian-jian Yang Hui descendants and uses historical documents like pedigree of a clan and oral history memory in order to analyze the source and migration history of Qin-tian-jian Yang Hui descendants. The forth chapter is mainly from the "intermarriage circle" and building decoration and folk art to show the culture of Qin-tian-jian Yang that is combination of Islamic culture and Confucian culture. The fifth chapter describes the memory and the reconstruction of the family to show the dualistic unification between the national identify and the family identity with the subject of anthropology. The conclusion reviews the formation of the history and the culture, combined with the history and cultural change of the Qin-tian-jian Yang Hui family to emphasize the double identity recognition and double identity behind the duality of culture brought by double identity of Qin-tian-jian Yang Hui family.
