As the customers of university, Students are the most direct customers andexperiencers of teaching quality of service.According to their own standards,theevaluations to teaching quality from students are the most intuitive and objective.Studentssatisfaction of teaching plays an important role in the many factors of evaluating teachers’teaching quality.Through survey on student satisfaction of teaching, people can find outsome problems about teaching of teacher who serve in self-taught examination anduniversities’ assistance learning. And these existing problems can provide some valuableinformation for the development of self-taught examination and universities’ assistancelearning.Based on the theory of costumer satisfaction and the theory of student satisfaction,thisresearch made a full analysis and summary on the relevant excited document literature,andthe author wrote a questionnaire by herself named by “student satisfaction of teaching inself-taught examination and universities’ assistance learning”. This questionnaire coversthree aspects including teaching skill,teaching quality,teaching organization andmanagement.The author selected400self-taught students in X university to do thisresearch.SPSS is applied to data statistics and data analysis,which show the overall studentsatisfaction degree on teaching and figure out the influences of the various factors such asgender, subject, grade, educational background, origin,the only child, work experienceon student satisfaction degree of teaching. The results of this survey show out:First,the value of overall student satisfaction degree of teaching distribute between44and109,and average value of overall satisfaction degree is83.43. In general,theself-taught students in university are satisfied with teaching,but there still be someproportion of self-taught students are not very satisfied with teaching. There is much room for improvement in the the quality of teaching.The teachers who serve foruniversities’assistance learning should make efforts to improve the quality of teaching.Second, in satisfaction evaluation on three aspects, the self-taught students inuniversity are satisfied with teaching skill,teaching quality,teaching organization andmanagement.On teaching skill,there are some improvements on heuristic teachingmethod,teaching students in accordance of their aptitude, cultivating self-studyability,teaching languages and teaching emotion.On teaching quality,there are somepromotions in studying teaching material, preparing lessons, checking students’homework.On teaching organization and management,there are some developments on tutoring afterclass,teaching activities and feedback information of teaching.Third,student satisfaction on teaching have no difference in different gender. Non-only-child self-taught students’ overall satisfaction degree and the satisfaction degree onteaching skill are significantly higher than only child self-taught students.Studentsmajoring in science have higher level in student satisfaction degree on teaching thanstudents of liberal arts.Students of grade four have lower level in overall satisfactiondegree and the satisfaction degree on teaching skill than students of other grade. Studentsof grade one have higher level in the satisfaction degree on teaching quality than studentsof grade three and grade four. Students of grade two have higher level in the satisfactiondegree on teaching quality than students of grade four.Students of grade one have higherlevel in the satisfaction degree on teaching organization and management than studentsof grade four.Students of grade two have higher level in the satisfaction degree on teachingorganization and management than students of grade three and grade four. Students fromjunior college have higher level in overall satisfaction degree and the satisfaction degree onteaching skill than students from senior high school.Students without work experiencehave higher level in overall satisfaction degree than students with work experience.Students from rural area and town have higher level in overall satisfaction degree and thesatisfaction degree on teaching quality and teaching organization and management.Fourth,there are significant correlation in the overall satisfaction, teachingskill,teaching quality and teaching organization and management.Based on the findings of this research, put forward to some measures and proposals:the university should enhance management and supervision of teaching quality,make astrict employment system,establish a standard training system;the teachers who sever assistance learning in university should improve teaching method and teaching languageskill;update new educational ideals,construct diversified knowledge structure,pay moreattention to preparing lessons, checking students’homework and tutoring after class;layemphasis on standardized management and artistic management,expand teachingactivities,strengthen the relationships between teachers and students.
