Our country is in the society-transition period at present, on the impact of globalization, informatization and cultural diversity. Some undergraduates are confused on this society. The disconnection between cognition and behavior, inefficient moral education in colleges are becoming more and more prominent. The latest research of identity showed that moral identity would play an important part in moral functioning, integrated with one’s moral cognition and moral behaviors. Therefore, improving the level of undergraduates’moral identity is crucial task that get rid of confusion for values of diversity, and establish firm moral values and develop moral behavior.Based on overviews of former research,"Moral Identity" is defined as a process that individuals internalize socially accepted moral values into self consciousness, have a clear orientation with their own individual moral ideal, and have a very good consistency between their moral behavior and moral values.This thesis constitutes as the following parts:the present investigation, analysis and the solution to the existing problems. First of all, take Chongqing as the case, investigate and study undergraduates’moral identity in internalization dimension and symbolization dimension. On the analysis of questionnaires, the author tries to find out the current condition of full-time undergraduates’moral identity and analyzes these factors in four perspectives:individual, family, school and society. Second, conclude the existing problems of undergraduates’moral identity. Third, analyze attributions in inconsistency of moral self; the effect of moral education in school is not obvious; family moral education showed a gradual weakening trend; moral practice is very little; peer influence; the negative impact of social moral environment. At last, according to the analysis above, propose solutions from four aspects:individual, school, family and society. In a word, this thesis discusses the undergraduates’ moral development in identity perspective, with the aid of questionnaire analysis, which puts forward strategies for improving the level of moral identity of undergraduates...
