With rapid development of economic society, we are on the verge of full access toinformatization, knowledge explosion and brainstorming has become the most prominentfeature of this age. Graduate student is the main force of The Times whose essence is to relyon knowledge management to create social value. The relevant departments’s attention on thequality of graduate student’s education is more and more, and they also put forward higherrequirements for the graduate student individual.They must possess a scientific imaginationand scientific research ability, and should have to study more knowledge aboat originalthinking ability and critical ability. Personal knowledge management is the essential means toimprove their competitiveness.Personal knowledge management can put knowledge ordering, and it puts the scatteredand ignored knowledge into the graduate student’s scalable knowledge.Through the analysisto the application process, it improves our ability to think, and can derive new forms ofpersonal knowledge on this basis.In the process, logical thinking ability will have a newpromotion.Mind mapping is a tool for the selection of the personal knowledge management.Mind mapping is graphics.It has a different color, shape, focused, and has its own style whichcan stimulate the different associations of people, and plays an important role in the creativeplay. Mind mapping simulates the human brain in the largest extent whose function andpeople’s thinking and behavior habits are consistent.Through the literature review and the thorough analysis, the author determines theresearch point of the paper, and writes about present situation of the research on based on thepersonal knowledge management of mind mapping questionnaire. The author mainly throughliterature research, investigation and case analysis from six different levels of schoollaunched the implementation of this research. And through statistical analysis of thequestionnaire, to determine the characteristics of the different learning stage of graduatestudents is: on the personal knowledge characteristics, their knowledge structure will becomemore complicated, and more professional stronger; On the career planning, their planning starting point is higher;On the personal ability and demand, the author discusses that frompersonal ability and knowledge requirements analysis.According to these characteristics, Theauthor put forward four personal knowledge management implementation.Analysis of thepresent situation of the graduate student personal knowledge management and summarizessome problems including: in cognitive stage, the graduate student’s consciousness ofinformation analysis and processing is not strong, the ability of this aspect is still at theprimary level. In the stage of scientific research project, the role of mind mapping at thisstage is not obvious, and to do this for tacit knowledge acquisition and management is aloss.Application in innovation stage, graduate application technical software not many, andmake the mind mapping utility ratio is low.To a certain extent, that affected the cultivation ofthe graduate student’s innovative thinking and innovative ability.After visiting survey, thispaper puts forward three main methods of personal knowledge management implementation,and analyzes the expected effect. Following the thoughts: present situation investigation,problem formulation, reason analysis and solution proposal.
