With the rapid development of social economy, health issues become the focus ofpeople’s attention, especially the physical and mental health problems in high school.Currently,the high school students are being faced with the pressure of entrance exams,however parents and teachers paying close attention to scores and graduation rates unilaterally,cause high school students to face bigger life and living pressure,thus ignoring their physicaland mental health problems. Since most high school students will graduate into society andbecome builders of the country, their physical and mental health problems is particularlyimportant. The main explanation of health education classes among our high school sportsprograms are strengthening students’ physical and psychological qualities,developing goodhabits and social adaptability, and other related content. Thus the creation of health educationclasses in high school is particularly important.Since2003high school started to carry out Curriculum Reform in our country,whichrequired that, each student have to get a total of11credits for three years of study,of whichtwo credits must come from at Athletics Series and health education series, according to theuniversity’s schools actual arrangement of teaching health education classes. In this paper, theuse of literature, questionnaires, statistics and other research methods, the status of Qian’anCity High School opened health education classes, and school leaders to recognize theimportance of health education, student attitudes towards health education and healtheducation status of teachers on issues such as research, summed up the Qian’an City HighSchool health education classes open problems and put forward the corresponding solutions,proposed the creation of health education classes corresponding theoretical basis for theQian’an City High School. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.It is a big significance High School’s opening health education classes in Qian’an City,however the present situation of opening health education classes in most schools is not ideal,without setting up enough of what curriculum standards required.2.Teaching material used in health education classes of physical education curriculum inHigh School of Qian’an City is the book of Sport and Health, published by People’s EducationPress, lacking professional health education materials. 3.Most teachers taking on the health education classes in High School of Qian’an Cityare part-time teachers, and their academic and professional titles are relatively low. They havenot received professional training in aspects of health education, so it is not enough to masterprofessional health education. Additionally, student have positive attitudes towards healtheducation, but some of their health behaviors are unsatisfactory.4.The reasons of the impact of High School sports courses setting up health educationclasses in Qian’an City are the four aspect as following:the president’s understanding of theimportance of health education,capital position of health education, students’ attitudestowards health education and campus culture and so on.
