Lifestyle Change From The Perspective Of Ecological Civilization

Report to the Eighteenth National Congress of Communist Party of China pointed outthat:" Promoting ecological progress is a long-term task of importance to the people’wellbeing and China’s future.……We should remain to the basic state policy of conservingresources and protecting the environment……We should preserve our geographical space andimprove our industrial structure,way of production and way of life in the interest ofconservation resources and protecting the environment.We should address the root cause ofdeterioration of the ecological environment for the people,and contribute our share to globalecological security."This paper suggests that the party attaches great importance to theconstruction of ecological civilization, at the same time points out lifestyle of greatsignificance for the construction of ecological civilization.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the main body is divided into four parts:The first part is: a detailed analysis of the theory of ecological civilization and lifestyle.The concept of lifestyle is to answer how people life. It has broad and narrow sense. From thenarrow sense, it refers to daily life consumption structure and implementation of individuals,families and the other people. Broadly speaking, the lifestyle is the way of people’action,mainly includes the way of material production, material consumption, socialinteractions, the satisfaction of spiritual needs, and so on.This paper mainly discusses thegeneral way of life. Ecological civilization is a traditional industrial civilization in thereflection of human civilization form formed on the basis of, attaches great importance to theinteractions between people and natural environment, the mutual fusion and mutualdevelopment, in order to realize the harmony of man and nature, people. Ecologicalcivilization by ideology, behavior, social system, four aspects constitute material production.The second part, lifestyle changes and the historical evolvement of the civilization."Yellow" lifestyle is associated with agricultural civilization, this period is extremelybackward productivity, is a kind of self-sufficient life pattern, is a kind of "natural" humanand nature harmonious relations;"Gray" lifestyle associated with industrial civilization, therapid development of the productive forces, this period is a kind of "demand expansion" thepattern of life, human action caused great damage to nature; Is inevitable choice of green modern lifestyle,"green" lifestyle, according to the requirements of sustainable development,through changing the economic growth mode of industrial civilization period and the way oflife consumption, to achieve "people-society-nature" the harmonious development of thesystem, so that the harmonious relation between man and nature get the return of the dialectic.The third part analyzes the lifestyles which impede the ecological civilization and thecauses.
