The Design And Application Of Electronic Portfolio In Chinese In Primary And Secondary Schools Based On Kanbox

Primary and secondary new curriculum standards set forth in2012, the language ofprimary and secondary education should meet the needs of modern society, civic education inthe process, but also need to have a higher scientific literacy, improve their cultural literacy,develop their own innovation spirit, broaden their horizons, to enhance cooperation andexchanges between people of ability, which include the need to improve readingcomprehension, including a number of basic skills, and learn to use modern informationtechnology to collect and process information. Primary and secondary language educationshould be able to create and nurture a new generation to play an active role.Kanbox is a data-storage cloud service platform based on cloud network. It has themerits of large capacity and easy operation. Electronic portfolio on kanbox is free, easy tooperate and has the function of secondary development. It also supports android, mac, iPhoneand other terminals, which provides technical and application support for the launching ofkanbox in rural areas. In this thesis, basing on the features of kanbox, three-year teachingexperience and IT hardware configuration in rural areas, the author proposes the three modesof kanbox-based electronic portfolio in primary and secondary language education in ruralareas. Detailed modules and uses of the three modes are also provided. By allowing parents,students and teachers to participate in the creation and evaluation of electronic portfolio, itaims to enhance students’ ability of innovation, self-evaluation and self-analysis in theprocess of study and finally to optimize teaching.In conclusion, this study puts forward suggestions for the application of electronicportfolio in primary and secondary schools in rural areas.
