Chongqing marathon originated in the original south coast road ten thousand pace, on January1,2009held in south coast road ten thousand marathon (7.195miles), May1,2010and successfully hosted the south shore road half marathon invitational ten thousand people, in order to further promote the construction of "healthy Chongqing", the national fitness craze, in June2010, the Chongqing municipal sports bureau, Nanan distract people’s governments to the state general administration of sports of track and field sports management center proposed Chongqing marathon and approved, which makes Chongqing marathon brought into the national unified arrangement of the race, and to determine the third weekend in March every year held in Chongqing south coast roadBased on the2011-2013, three years of Chongqing international marathon competition as the research object, through the literature material method, expert interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, comparative analysis and other methods to research and analyze the Chongqing international marathon, mainly about the development of Chongqing international marathon condition including the development background of Chongqing international marathon, the themes, characteristics and significance of the events set, match schedule and route set, matches the manager system, level, scale, propaganda and broadcast events, event website set up, the referee team level, team member satisfaction, and analyzes the competition of market development, and Chongqing international marathon on the political, economic and cultural effects.Through investigation and study the following conclusions:1, far from Chongqing international marathon match for three years, from the start of the national tournament promoted to international competition, has obtained certain brand effect, although the holding time is short but in the event of work has been mature, more and more players and audience is to actively participate in the scene of the marathon, is worthy of affirmation and pride.2, most of the competitors for the event organization is satisfied, there are also some athletes for the event close time too early (only five and a half hours), some drink standing water shortage of drinking water, food and accommodation, traffic congestion problem before the game, the track settings switchback station, beverage, and waste of water, the starting point too prone to accidents are not satisfied with such problems as this is the real problem.3, Chongqing international marathon held successfully, including to the economy of Chongqing (sports related industry, tourism, catering, hotel, and other industries), urban infrastructure and thus, urban visibility, urban culture, urban jobs has had a positive impact. But this kind of influence is not enough, did not achieve very good effect, no good game function into full play.4, Chongqing international marathon market operation mode is mainly:the government leading, enterprise business is complementary, the exercise of rights and government enterprises passive participation, also achieved certain effect, give full play to the good market system, the economic effect and brand effect is not obvious, needs to further perfect the mode of operation, in order to better service for the people.
