The twenty-first Century is the era of knowledge economy, learning how to learn is theessential quality of qualified talents for the new century. Cultivating students’ awareness, habits, abilities and methods in autonomous learning is the core of carrying out qualityeducation and is also the basic task in improving national quality. Many scholars have putforward their views and suggestions on the issue of autonomous learning. Because of thepromotion of China’s quality education, the study with the autonomous learning anddevelopment is becoming a lifelong process. In a certain sense, leaning how to learn, learninghow to think, willing to acquire new knowledge and active exploration, good at searching, identifying and processing all kinds of available information, and putting all these intoapplication, are ways to achieve the knowledge-learning and constant quality-improving.Therefore, the ways and methods used in this process are particularly important. The core research direction of this thesis is to analyze and discuss on the cultivation ofhigh school students’ autonomous learning ability from the perspective of the interrelationshipbetween the teaching subjects. The aim is to let the students to be the masters of their ownlearning process by leaning how to learn, learning how to think and being willing to acquirenew knowledge and active exploration. The guidance of the study is confirming theimportance of students development and cultivating students’ interest in learning, based on thetheory of autonomous from Chinese and foreign scholars such as USA scholarB.J.Zimmerman and Professor P.R.Pintrich. Autonomous learning motivation should beinternal or self excitation, learning method should be planned or skilled achieved the degreeof automation. Autonomous learners on learning time arrangement is regular and effective, and can realize the results of learning. The general structure of the thesis is that under theguidance of these theories, combined with the experience in teaching, to improve the qualityof students’ language and thought quality, teachers should not only help students acquireknowledge, but also guide the students understand how to use the suitable learning methods,i.e. learning strategies in order to guide students to become autonomous learners, making thesolid foundation for students’ lifelong learning. The angle selected in the paper is the relationship between the teaching subject, mainly the relationships of teacher-student andstudent-student. Compared with the traditional relationship between teachers and students, the former one proposed the establishment of the mode of teaching suitable for the cultivationof students’ autonomous learning both in and after the class. Autonomous Learningconnotation of teacher-student relationship includes three aspects: one is the democracy andequality; another is the positive interaction; the last is teaching benefits teachers as well asstudents, and grow together. The goal of the student-student relationship is to, through theircooperation, effectively improve the teaching quality and result, emphasize students’cooperation, establishing a good relationship between students: mutual acceptance andunderstanding, mutual learning and living, helping each other so as to enhance their socialadaptability. This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part. Necessity and practical significance of thethesis are presented, as well as the related research methods used. With the development ofeducation and the new curriculum reform, autonomous learning has become a focus ofconcern, so as the need of active exploration and cooperative learning. So the author attemptsto explore how to how to carry out cooperative research in the daily teaching from the level oftheory, studying the relationships between different teaching subjects, striving to somepromotion in the teaching practice. The second chapter, theoretical overview. Summarize relevant research results ofautonomous learning, including its theoretical basis--the humanistic significance, characteristics, implementation approaches, essence, influence factors, promotion methodsand practical significance, providing the theoretical basis and reference of this paper. The third chapter and the fourth chapter are the main parts of this paper, mainly todiscuss the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability from the relationship betweenthe teaching subjects. The third chapter is on the teacher-student relationship. From the present and traditionalteacher-student relationship, the mode of teaching is proposed, which is suitable for thecultivation of students’ autonomous learning. The mode includes three aspects: one is the democracy and equality; another is the positive interaction; the last is teaching benefitsteachers as well as students, and grow together. Combined with the author’s own teachingcases, this mode is in-depth study and summed up, so it can be used to improve the authors’level of teaching. The fourth chapter mainly discusses the student-student relationship in the process ofteaching, mainly focus on new model of student-student relationship under the theory ofautonomous learning. The key is that under the participation and guidance, teachers shouldhelp students to form cooperative learning groups, provide more methods for multiplecooperative learning, and increase the interaction time and form, in order to make theinitiative of the students fully released. Furthermore, the author adopted effective measuresand the valuable classroom demonstration, through its own teaching practice, try to releasestudents’ the internal potential. The fifth chapter is the conclusion part. The author will always put the theory ofautonomous learning into teaching, and regularly reflect on and improve the teaching methodswith the new curriculum standard, realizing it is a gradual process in cultivating students’autonomous learning ability, and holding a correct view of those problems occurringrepeatedly.
