The technology is developing, and the era is advancing, the traditional teaching model isclosed and clearly cannot meet the demand for creative talent. Inquiry-based learning anddiscipline curriculum integration study found: the traditional classroom environmentinquiry-based learning exists between teachers and students will not be able to communicatein time and evaluation, the lack of necessary inquiry-based learning resources and other issues.Therefore, it is necessary to develop inquiry-based learning based on network. Blackboard(hereinafter referred to as BB platform) to carry out network teaching platform based onnetwork inquiry learning provides the technical support and protection, through the platformbetween students and teachers can use the platform to provide convenient communicationtools to communicate, teachers can use the platform of diversified teaching evaluation on thestudents’ learning situation. Inquiry-based learning based on network has convenientinteraction between teachers and students, learning content, open time is flexible, richnetwork resources, etc. At present, the research based on BB platform of teaching andlearning mode of scholars more and more, this research is put forward under the abovebackground.In Hebei Normal University, taking "Data Warehouse and Data Mining" course of grade2011students of electronic commerce as the research object, first of all, by consulting a largenumber of research related information material, this paper expounds the inquiry-basedlearning and BB platform the concept and theoretical basis of the status quo of inquiry-basedlearning research both at home and abroad, the in-depth analysis of the data warehouse anddata mining course content, goal, on the basis of the inquiry-based learning theory andmethod "is given priority to with learning" teaching design theory, under the guidance of theinquiry-based learning model based on BB platform is constructed, and on the teachingcontent of the chapters the inquiry-based learning activity design and implementation. Ininquiry-based learning in the process, through the observation, questionnaire survey and so onto the student to understand students’ learning situation, the usage of the inquiry-based learning and BB platform, based on the questionnaire data analysis, understand the pattern ofstudents’ knowledge, innovation ability and practical ability to improve function, and analyzethe influencing factors of inquiry-based learning, puts forward correspondingcountermeasures. Finally, this study concluded that for reflection and the shortcomings of thisresearch and prospect for further research.The innovation of this study is embodied in the following two points:1. This study is inthe thorough analysis to understand the traditional classroom environment under the premiseof inquiry-based learning, inquiry-based learning in teaching under the network environment,design based on BB platform under the network environment of inquiry-based learning mode,this is the improvement and development of traditional inquiry-based learning.2. Through tothe Chinese knowledge network and the Internet literature collection, found that there is noBB platform and the "Data Warehouse and Data Mining" courses with the combination ofliterature. Design "Data Warehouse and Data Mining" new pattern of curriculum reform, isthe network teaching and information technology curriculum integration an attempt, computerclass curriculum reform in colleges and universities has reference significance. This studybased on the BB platform, to carry out exploratory learning activities, BB platform and theorganic combination of existing classroom teaching, based on the network auxiliary teachingactivities, helps to promote the use of network teaching platform in colleges and universities.In this paper, through the theory analysis and practice certificate Blackboard inquirylearning under the network teaching platform environment to stimulate students’ interest inlearning, improve the ability of the students’ autonomous learning, autonomous explorationand cultivate students’ innovative spirit plays an important role. And verified based on theBlackboard, network teaching platform of "Data Warehouse and Data Mining" the necessityand feasibility of inquiry learning, played a Blackboard, network teaching platform in theteaching and the important role of the reform, for students to make full use of the networkteaching platform for the exploratory learning courses provide reference and reference.
