Information Research Universities Cloud-based Services

Modern information technology is pervading every part of economicdevelopment and social life. Modes of production, life and learning areundergoing profound changes because of modern information technology. As anintegral part of education, universities and colleges consist of an extremelycomplicated system which encompasses teaching, scientific research,administration, and even daily life of the faculty and students. So far, on the onehand, the construction of smart university administration system has made muchprogress. On the other hand, however, there are still many problems involved inthe construction of such systems so as to optimize it and better suit the needs ofuniversities.The thesis adopts the research method of questionnaire survey andinterviews with field experts to acquire the basic facts of present informationmanagement systems of universities and find out the problems involved.Thethesis then, from three perspectives, namely administrators, faculty, and students,deals with three major problems with such systems, which are reflectedrespectively in resources reorganization, information sharing, and systemapplication.on the basis of theoretical analysis,and from the perspectives ofteaching administration, asset administration,and rear service management, asmart information management system of university based on cloud technology.Different modules as for basic management, comprehensive business applicationmanagement, faculty and student management are designed. In the meantime,some suggestions, principles and security measures are presented.The result of the research indicates that information management systemcan bring modernization of education and find answers to the problemsconfronting higher education, promote innovation and reform of education andraise the efficiency and competitiveness of higher education and thus is of somereference and practical value.
