| With the deepening of the new round of basic education curriculum reform, classroomteaching mode is also changed. The case teaching method in moral lesson has been widelyused. Case Method is a typical case of the introduction of a representative of the teachingprocess in order to guide students to analyze typical case study, and achieve the subjectlearning knowledge and make it into practice in a teaching method. Compared with otherlearning methods, students pay more attention to the case teaching method to analyzeproblems, problem-solving skills and emphasize to the primacy of the students. Studentsdevelop ideological and moral qualities completely when acquiring knowledge and gainskills. It has been proved that the case teaching method plays an important role in theideological and moral lesson teaching process.The article is about to explore case teaching’s meaning based on the theoreticalstatements of case teaching and the analysis of case teaching model types, characteristics,and principles. The author aims to explore the current situation moral case teaching byconducting the questionnaire survey on school students in middle school. Teachers’cognition of case teaching also been anglicized to feasibility of the case teaching method issuitable for the junior middle school moral character teaching.
