Composition teaching always plays a decisive role in the middle school language teaching especially in writing teaching.The main expression of argumentation is discussion.lt plays a crucial role in improving students’ language, developing their logical thinking ability, improving their ability of analyzing and solving the problem.A batch of education work to Chinese teachers, scholars have explored difficultly, they put forward many constructive opinions or suggestions.However, there are many problems on the high school writing teaching, these problems are arising from many aspects.To solve these problems, improve the students’Argumentative Writing, teachers also need to continue to reform, constantly breakthrough.In this paper, based on the summary of previous studies, through the PEP curriculum standard experimental textbook of ordinary senior high school "language"(Compulsory) analysis and investigation of a middle school in Shuangfeng County of Loudi city,Try to find the reasons from the textbook, on the high school behind the writing teaching problems and these problems in three aspects of teaching and learning, and from these reasons to explore effective countermeasures,In order to improve the writing level on the high school students, and provide some useful reference for writing teaching in senior high school debate. The thesis is divided into four parts:the first part is the preface and literature review, research paper at home and argumentative writing and its teaching, and writing on the introduced. The second part mainly defines the concept of argumentation, as well as the significance and value of research. The third part through the analysis of the investigation report, explore and summarize causes behind the problems on paper writing and its problems. The fourth part is on the basis of the reason from the textbook, the teaching and learning and put forward some countermeasures of three aspects, so as to provide some references in the future teaching. The last part is the conclusion, summarizes the full text.
